With over 40 years of experience as an artist, watercolor has long been my primary medium—its fluidity and transparency allow me to capture the subtle beauty I find in the natural world. I also work in oil, pencil, and charcoal, each offering a unique way to explore form, texture, and light.

Much of my inspiration comes from nature, especially branches and native flowers of Indiana. I’m drawn to the quiet complexity of these subjects—the curve of a stem, the shift in color across a petal, the way light moves through leaves, and the jagged lines and rough texture of branches. Through my work, I aim to celebrate the delicate, often overlooked details that connect us to our environment.

Art, for me, is both observation and appreciation. It’s a way to slow down and truly see the natural world around us.

My Grandmother who was herself an artist, art teacher and founding member of the CCA Gallery inspired me at a young age to pursue art. To the right is a painting my grandmother did in 1966 using palette knives. Painting, drawing, restoring vintage motorcycles, woodworking and playing my bass guitar are skills I am very passionate about.

I  look forward to sharing my wealth of artistic knowledge with art lovers and aspiring artists.
